The Tanglwyst Cup is an annual golf competition played by a group of friends from Wales and England. The matches take place at a different location each year, with its spiritual home in Wales. It takes its name after Ty Tanglwyst Farm in South Wales, the dairy farm that formed the base of the inaugural competition in 2011 and which donated the competition's trophy.

The Tanglwyst Cup Matches are played between two teams of six, under a match play format. The matches consist of three fourballs matches, three greensomes/foursomes matches and six singles matches. The winner of each match scores a point for their team, with 1/2 a point each for any match that is tied after 18 holes.

The 2025 matches took place along the coast of Suffolk with a return of TC stalwart Godwin, who made the long trip over from Australia. Mullin and Shirley were the captains and both men led from the front with excellent showings over the three days. Mullin's Phoenix Knights got their noses in front on day 1 with the points shared on day 2 leaving all to play for on the final day. Both players front-loaded their line-ups for singles and it was Mullin and King who all but ended the affair with respective 7&6 and 6&4 victories to put early points on the board, requiring just another point from the remaining four matches. It was Davidson who would claim that final point a short while later and an eventual final score of 7.5-4.5 to the Phoenix Knights. Mullin now stands undefeated in 3 captaincies, the most successful in TC history.
 
Having impressed both on and off the course in his first two years, Ed Pennington will take on the captaincy reins in 2026 and take on the 2015 and 2019 victorious captain, Ben King. Mullin has assumed the role as President and has been instrumental in bringing the 2026 matches back to Scotland after a 12 year absence. The matches will take place on 8-10 October in Fife.
